titleOfInvention Paper strengthening agent and paper strengthening method
abstract The present invention consists of a polymer dispersion prepared by polymerizing a monomer containing (meth) acrylic acid in an aqueous solution and precipitating the resulting polymer as fine particles, wherein the paper enhancer is added to the paper layer after the paper layer is formed. The concentration of the (meth) acrylic acid (co) polymer in the polymer dispersion is 5% by weight or more, (2) The average particle diameter of the (meth) acrylic acid (co) polymer particles in the polymer dispersion is 1 to 100 µm, and (3) The viscosity of the polymer dispersion is 30 to 5000 mPa · s immediately after preparation and one month after preparation. (4) When the polymer dispersion is diluted 10 times with distilled water and the diluted dispersion is magnified at 400 times and observed under a microscope. The polymer particles can be recognized, and (5) when the pH of the diluted dispersion is adjusted to 7.0 by adding alkali, the polymer particles are dissolved to prepare an aqueous solution. It provides an intelligence enhancer characterized in that. The paper enhancer prepared in this manner can be diluted with water, coated or impregnated on the dry paper surface or the wet paper surface, and then the treated paper is dried to obtain paper with increased paper strength.
