titleOfInvention Apertured laminate web
abstract The present invention relates to a perforated laminated web that can be used as a topsheet on disposable absorbent articles such as diapers. The laminated web is formed of a liquid permeable first material and a liquid permeable second material attached to the first material. The first material has a plurality of pores having an effective open area of at least about 10% and an effective size of at least 0.2 mm 2 . The second material has a plurality of pores having an effective open area of at least about 10% and an effective size of at least 0.2 mm 2 . The pores of the second material are aligned with the pores of the first material. It is preferred that the second material has greater hydrophilicity than the first material.
