abstract |
Breathable films with improved physical and barrier properties include elongated impact resistant polyolefin matrices and particulate fillers. The impact resistant polyolefin matrix comprises one or more impact resistant polypropylene copolymers, alone or in combination with other polymers. The film of the present invention and the laminate comprising the film provide excellent moisture permeability and excellent barrier to liquid permeation. Laminates comprising the films of the invention can be used in diaper outer covers and other applications where breathability and resistance to liquid permeation are required. |
