abstract | Disclosed herein are methods for inhibiting anionic trash and pitch precipitation in pulp and paper systems and for treating coated broke. The method includes adding a polyammonium quaternary polymer to the system. The polyammonium quaternary polymers that are branched or crosslinked include one or more cationic monomers, such as diallyldimethylammonium chloride, and N, N, N-triallylamine or N, N, N-triallylamine hydrochloride. Obtained from one or more branching or crosslinking monomers. |
