abstract |
The light shielding area between pixels in the liquid crystal display device is reduced to achieve high light transmittance and high definition.n n n The storage capacitor wiring 2 is formed in the lower layer of the thin film semiconductor layer 4 constituting the TFT through the interlayer insulating film 3. Between the portion of the thin film semiconductor layer 4 in which the drain region of the TFT is extended and the storage capacitor wiring 2, a dielectric film for a storage capacitor made up of the bottom of the recess 3a of the interlayer insulating film 3 is held. The capacitor is constituted. The drain region of the TFT and the pixel electrode 17 are electrically connected, and the liquid crystal display device is driven by the TFT. |
