abstract | The present invention relates to (a) transition metal compounds of Groups 8 to 10 of the periodic table, (b) clays, clay minerals or ion-exchange layered compounds, (c) silane compounds and optionally (d) organoaluminum compounds and / or ( e) catalysts for the preparation of olefin polymers containing alkylating agents, and (a) transition metal compounds of groups 8 to 10 of the periodic table, (b) clays, clay minerals or ion-exchange layered compounds, (d) organoaluminum compounds and as necessary (e) to an olefin polymer production catalyst containing an alkylating agent. These catalysts do not use aluminoxane in a large amount, have high activity, and can use these catalysts to produce olefin polymers with good morphology, low amount of residual metal and good quality with high efficiency. |
