titleOfInvention | RNA SEQUENCE SPECIFIC BINDING FOR SIALYL LEWIS X(sLeX) |
abstract | The present invention provides an RNA sequence conjugated with high specificity and affinity to sialyl Lewis X (sLeX) of cancer cells and a method for detecting sLeX using the same. Sialyl Lewis X (sLeX) is a cell surface target involved in inflammation and metastasis of cancer, and selected RNAs of the present invention have superior results in terms of their bonding strength or molecular specificity, which may result in specific recognition of cancer cells. It has the potential to be a molecule that can bring breakthrough results in the detection of cancer cells and the development of cancer therapeutics. |
