Polyurethane / urea / thiourea latexes having a narrow molecular weight polydispersity and sub-micron particle size first prepare an emulsion of a high dispersion ratio (HIPR) polyurethane / urea / thiourea prepolymer, and the emulsion is polymerized. It can be prepared by contact with a chain-extension agent under conditions which form a latex. |
