titleOfInvention | Catalyst for hydroxylation and process for producing aromatic hydroxy compound |
abstract | The present invention uses a novel and useful hydroxylation catalyst capable of directly introducing a hydroxyl group with high selectivity into the para position of a hydroxyl group or an alkoxyl group substituted in an aromatic ring, and the hydroxyl group in the para position. The aromatic hydroxy compound introduced is simply produced in high yield and high selectivity.n n n In the presence of a catalyst for hydroxylation containing lipophilic crystalline titanosilicate, at least one selected from the group consisting of phenol, alkoxy benzene and these derivatives is reacted with hydrogen peroxide to produce an aromatic hydroxy compound. |
