Coated Abrasive Article and Method of Making Same |
abstract |
The coated abrasive article includes a substrate, a first binder (ie, make coat) on the substrate, and a plurality of abrasive particles in the first binder. The first binder precursor is an energy curable melt processable resin that contains an epoxy resin, a polyester component, a multifunctional acrylate component, and a curing agent that crosslinks the epoxy resin and is cured to provide a crosslinked make coating. The invention also relates to a method of making such coated abrasive articles and surface treated porous fabric materials. |
