The present invention relates to topical adhesives for adhering to the skin. In particular, the present invention relates to topical adhesives that can be used to adhere to the skin of areas where body fluids are to be absorbed. Topical adhesives adhere firmly and have a good feel to the skin when applied and do not cause discomfort when peeled off. This is done by selecting a viscous modulus (G ") along with the chemical composition and flow characteristics of the topical adhesive, specifically the thickness (C) of the topical adhesive layer applied to the absorbent article to be attached to the skin. |
