abstract The present invention provides an optical isomer separation method that enables optical separation of a compound that could not be sufficiently optically divided under conventional reverse phase conditions. The present invention also provides an optical isomer separation method comprising using a basic mobile phase under reversed phase conditions in separation of an optical isomer by liquid chromatography using a separation agent having a polysaccharide derivative as an active ingredient.
