titleOfInvention Preparation Method of Wood Substitute Using Dyed Wood Chips
abstract The present invention relates to a method of dyeing sawdust with basic dyes, direct dyes or reactive dyes and mixing with polyethylene resins to produce wood substitutes. Wood substitute of the present invention is a sawdust, distilled water, Na 2 SO 4 , Na 2 CO 3 and a basic dye, a direct dye or a reactive dye dyeing sawdust and dyed sawdust 30 to 50% by weight and polyethylene resin 70 To 50% by weight and maleic anhydride (MA), an adhesive improver, is added by mixing 0% to 2% by weight of sawdust to prepare a wood substitute. The physical properties of wood substitutes manufactured with dyed sawdust increased elastic modulus significantly as the amount of dyed sawdust increased, but flexural strength increased slightly and elongation decreased slightly.n n n Wood substitutes of the present invention can not only greatly expand the range of use than the existing wood substitutes due to various colors, but also can reduce environmental pollution due to the recycling of wood by-products and contribute to the national economy as a whole imports of timber.
