abstract | The present invention relates to an ultraviolet curable secondary coating resin composition used for optical fiber production. The important physical properties required for secondary coating resins include the toughness of high elongation at high strength and elastic modulus, and the excellent water resistance and hardness, and the present invention provides a novel oligomer having a large number of urethane bonds or urea bonds in a molecule. The required physical properties were achieved by synthesizing and using. The present invention relates to 30 to 80% by weight of a polyurethane (meth) acrylate oligomer synthesized from (1) a diisocyanate compound, a monomolecular diol and a polyglycol, and a (meth) acrylate compound having a hydroxyl group, and (2) an acryl in a molecule. 10 to 60% by weight of a reactive monomer diluent containing at least one diary, and (3) 0.5 to 10% by weight of one or more types of photoinitiators that can be initiated by ultraviolet rays. By using the oligomer developed in the present invention, it is possible to easily achieve the physical properties of the secondary coating resin having low toughness and high toughness while showing an excellent effect on improving the elastic modulus. |
