Recombinant Plant Expression Vector Comprising cDNA Encoding Antimicrobial Peptide Derived from Seed of Pharbitis nil L. |
abstract |
The present invention provides an antimicrobial peptide derived from the morning glory (Pharbitis nil L.) seed, cDNA encoding the same, and electric cDNA, which show excellent antimicrobial activity against various bacteria and fungi, which can confer resistance to fungal infection to plants. It relates to a recombinant plant expression vector comprising and a method of producing a transgenic plant having antifungal resistance using the same. Since the antimicrobial peptide Pn-AMP of the present invention has excellent antimicrobial activity against various fungi, plants which desire a gene encoding the electric Pn-AMP according to the method for producing a transgenic plant having an antifungal resistance of the present invention. By introducing into the cells, it will be easy to produce a transition plant resistant to fungal infection. |
