The present invention reacts a chelate ligand-containing compound by reacting an amidate-based chelating ligand of general formula (I) with a compound of the form of Mg [Al (OR) 3 R '] 2 (wherein R and R' is an alkyl group). After the preparation, the present invention relates to a chelating catalyst for olefin polymerization and an olefin polymerization method using the same, which is prepared by reacting with a titanium halide compound.n n n R-N = C = A (I)n n n (Where A is an oxygen atom or an amino group of the form -NR 'and R, R' is an alkyl group)n n n By the catalyst for olefin polymerization of the present invention, an olefin (co) polymer having excellent particle shape and having a narrow molecular weight distribution and a copolymer composition distribution can be obtained. |
