abstract In a method of preparing dry feed for fish and shellfish (crustacean) based on fresh fish raw material, during the preparation of the feed, the vegetable carbohydrate raw material is added together with other additives so that the carbohydrate content in the prepared feed is 5% or more. During all process steps until the feed pellet is molded, the moisture content is greater than 10%. The dry feed prepared contains 25 to 60% protein, 10 to 40% fat and 5 to 25% carbohydrates. The feed contains 25 to 60% of fish protein, and less than 40% of fat in fish oil form.
