titleOfInvention | A preparing process for aromatic propionic acid |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing an aromatic propionic acid, and more particularly, 2-fluorobiphenyl represented by Chemical Formula 2 and aluminum halide or zinc halide are added together, and 2-bromoprop represented by Chemical Formula 3 herein. The reaction can be carried out by adding cyanate, followed by acid treatment and crystallization, which is industrially easy to apply, simple in process, and excellent in yield and purity, which can economically prepare aromatic propionic acid represented by the following Chemical Formula 1 It relates to a novel process for producing propionic acid. |
