abstract The present invention relates to anti-cancer functional bean sprouts using germanium and its cultivation method. The general bean sprouts cultivated using germanium dissolved water have a higher cultivation rate and higher thickness, width, length and cotyledon compared to bean sprouts grown with tap water or groundwater. Increasing the length and thickness, dietary fiber, vitamin C, phenol, and minerals are abundant, and the sensory test has a high preference, in particular, it has an excellent effect of antimutagenicity, anticancer activity and cancer cell growth inhibition.
