The present invention provides as an initial component (a) 1 to 80% by weight of a polydiene diol having 1.6 to 2 terminal hydroxyl groups per molecule and a number average molecular weight ranging from 500 to 20,000; (b) a composition for the preparation of thermoplastic polyurethane comprising 20 to 99% by weight of a hard fragment-providing blend comprising isocyanates having two isocyanate groups per molecule and dimer diols as chain extenders; Provided are methods of making thermoplastic polyurethane compositions and thermoplastic polyurethane compositions produced therefrom. |
