abstract |
A non-tacky coating composition for use on mold surfaces is described which has excellent release properties and which mattes the molded article and retains these properties even with prolonged use. The coating compositions described consist of filled fluoropolymers and polymeric binders comprising inorganic filler particles that are fully or partially encapsulated by fluoropolymer powders, and the average roughness after spraying and curing upon application of the composition to the mold surface Generate a surface profile with Ra 1 to 15 microns. |
