abstract | A rib structure assembly sandwiched between a glass substrate and an insulating glass layer for use in a flat panel display, such as a plasma addressed liquid crystal display, is manufactured by many methods. One method comprises casting a thermoplastic glass frit comprising a paste to a rib structure, transferring the rib structure to a thin transparent thermoplastic insulated glass frit layer comprising a composition on a drum and with the thin transparent insulated glass layer. Transferring the rib structure to a glass substrate already having a metallic electrode thereon. |
