titleOfInvention Method for preparing taxol using sodium benzoate
abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparing taxol by culturing fungi producing taxol, in particular, Pestolotia heterocornis KCTC 0340BP, in a culture solution containing sodium benzoate, wherein sodium benzoate is 0.1 per liter of culture medium. A simple method of increasing the amount to -10 g, more preferably 0.3 to 3 g, relates to a method of increasing the production of taxol up to 100 µg per liter.
