abstract |
A nonaqueous electrolyte battery capable of improving impact resistance while maintaining the airtightness of a laminate film is described. A resin layer is provided on at least one side of the battery element when the battery element is accommodated in the laminate made of a laminate film and the battery is sealed by thermal welding. The resin layer can be formed by preforming a resin plate or by filling resin. The resin layer is present on two surfaces having a minimum area of all surfaces of the battery element. In the case of the wound element, the resin layer is present on both end faces of the wound element. The resin layer has an impact buffering action that protects the battery element from impact. |
