titleOfInvention A high hardness and wear-resisting flux cored wire
abstract Molybdenum 1-10% of hard and wear resistant fluxes in the wire; Tungsten 10-1%; Graphite 10-1%; Nickel 1-7%; Vanadium 10-2%; Chromium 40-20%; Sodium fluoride (Na 2 SiF 6 ) 5-15%; Niobium 10-1%; Boron 10-25%; Silica sand 2-10%; Rare earth oxides 1-8% by weight. These components are ground to a powder and thoroughly agitated and then placed on steel strips with a diameter of 0.25-0.6 mm. The steel strip is extruded into a wire by an extrusion press and finally drawn into a wire drawer, so that high hardness and wear resistant fluxes obtain the wire. The wire has a hardness of HRC 62-65 and can be used for repair welding cold rolls without cracks.
