Electromagnetically Operated Valves_ |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an electromagnetically actuated valve, which comprises a valve pin (13) which is axially movable. The valve pin 13 has at least one armature 17 and one spherical valve body 18. The armature 17 forms a valve body supporting member to receive the valve body 18 with the end portion 46 placed in a downward direction through which the fluid flows. Here, the end portion 46 surrounds the valve body 18 such that at least one flow path 49 directly connected to the longitudinal hole 23 of the armature 17 is formed on the surface of the valve body 18.n n n This valve is particularly suitable for use in fuel injectors in spark ignition engines that compress a mixture of air and fuel. |
