abstract The present invention is a glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) promoter gene derived from Pichia ciferrii ATCC 14091, plasmid prACGL2 (KCTC-0498BP) comprising the promoter gene. And prHECGL2 (KCTC-0511BP), thereby transforming the chia siferi transformant and the method of culturing the same, and provides a method for mass production of tetraacetyl phytosphingosine (TAPS).n n n Transformants transformed with plasmid prACGL2 (KCTC-0498BP) or prHECGL2 (KCTC-0511BP) provided by the present invention have a TAPS production capacity of at least 2.1 times as compared to the parent strain KFCC-10937.
