titleOfInvention Corona Discharge Reactor with Combined Light and Heat
abstract The present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment apparatus that removes harmful components such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur oxides (SOx) generated in various combustion processes, and more specifically, photo-decomposition reactions in a wire-cylinder-type corona discharge reaction. The present invention relates to a corona discharge reactor in which a combination of light and heat can be used to improve the purification performance significantly compared to when the corona discharge reaction is used alone.n n n According to a corona discharge reactor in which light and heat are applied in combination according to an embodiment of the present invention, the wire-shaped electrode is positioned at the center of the cylindrical electrode by a wire support guide to prevent the corona from being biased and generated by the heating means. The internal temperature is maintained at an optimum temperature for purifying exhaust gas, and the main body of the reactor is made of quartz, which acts as an insulator to block electrical disturbances between the electrodes to which high voltage is applied and the heating means. By improving the applied line-cylinder corona discharge reactor, it is possible to not only maximize the purification efficiency by maintaining the optimum temperature with the best purification efficiency, but also increase the purification efficiency of harmful gases even with low power supply.
