abstract The present invention relates to a process for the continuous preparation of optically pure (S) -3-hydroxy-gamma-butyrolactone represented by the following formula (1), and more particularly, to enzyme amylopectin that can be easily obtained from natural products under specific conditions To prepare oligosaccharides linked by α- (1,4) linkages with sugar distribution that is optimal for the preparation of the desired compound, and simultaneously oxidize the oligosaccharides with an oxidizing agent through basic anion exchange resins and adsorb to the ion exchange resins.
