abstract Disclosed is a conductive light absorbing substrate for use in field emission displays. The inner surface of the substrate is coated with a praseodymium-manganese oxide layer having a resistivity of less than 1 × 10 5 Pa · cm. Also disclosed is a method of coating the interior surface of a substrate with a layer comprising a substrate, a field emission display, and praseodymium-manganese oxide.
