titleOfInvention | Method for producing human platelet promoter (TPO) using animal cells |
abstract | The present invention relates to an animal cell expression vector comprising a human platelet promoter (Thrombopoietin; hereinafter abbreviated as "TPO") gene and a method for mass production of TPO in animal cells using the same. The present invention relates to a method for producing a large amount of TPO protein by transforming animal cells with a recombinant expression vector comprising a TPO gene substituted with a tPA signal sequence and then culturing the animal cells. In the present invention, by replacing the signal sequence of the TPO with the signal sequence of the human tissue plasminogen activator (hereinafter abbreviated as "tPA") to allow the TPO expressed in the cell to be secreted efficiently extracellularly. It is a useful method to express the type TPO protein in animal cells with high efficiency. |
