abstract The present invention relates to a methanol-containing fuel composition for an internal combustion engine that can solve the limit performance of methanol, one selected from the group consisting of 60 to 80% by volume methanol, conventional gasoline, naphtha and white spirit (based on the final fuel composition) Or 12 to 30% by volume of the mixture of two or more, 1 to 5% by volume of isobutanol, 1 to 5% by volume of acetone, and 0.6 to 4.0% by volume of peroxide, which are free of harmful gases and free from corrosion of the engine and start up. It can be used as a fuel without difficulty.
