titleOfInvention | CDNA encoding rabbit prothrombin Kringle-2 and amino acid sequence translated therefrom |
abstract | The present invention relates to the base sequence of the cDNA encoding the novel rabbit prothrombin Kringle-2 and the amino acid sequence derived therefrom. The present invention is a novel prothrombin kringle sensitized to Newzealand white rabbit with Bacillus Calmette-guerin (BCG) and isolated from serum of rabbit treated with endotoxin LPS (lipopolysaccharide). CDNA base sequence encoding -2 (prothrombin kringle-2) and the amino acid sequence translated therefrom. The cDNA sequence of the present invention can be expressed by an expression system established in recombinant E. coli, and rabbit prothrombin Kringle-2 produced in this way can be effectively used for the treatment of rheumatism or cancer by inhibiting angiogenesis. On the other hand, by inhibiting the activity of the prothrombinase complex during blood coagulation may be useful as a therapeutic agent for diseases caused by blood clots. |
