The present invention relates to materials such as Angelan-I and Angelan-II, which are pectin polysaccharides isolated from Angelica gigas Nakai, pure separation methods thereof, and their use as anticancer or immunopotentiators. More specifically, a composition of an immunostimulant containing galactronic acid, arabinose, galactose, and the like isolated from Angelica gigas, a method for isolating and purifying these substances using ion exchange resins, and immune related diseases including cancer of these substances. It relates to the use as a drug for prophylaxis, treatment, and post-treatment immunity, and to the use of these substances as immunostimulation samples for basic immunology research. |
