titleOfInvention | Improved elastomeric extrusion profile |
abstract | Elastomeric extrusion profiles based on peroxide cured ethylene, alpha -olefin, vinylnorbornene elastomeric polymers exhibit improved cured conditions and improved long-term thermal aging. Long-term thermal aging is an important consideration for building designers, vehicle manufacturers and owners seeking long-term life from these extrusion profiles. In addition, such extruded profiles based on elastomers have improved compressive curability under a wide temperature range of use. This excellent compression hardenability value improves the sealability over a wide temperature range and over a long period of time. Additionally, these elastomeric polymers generally exhibit low compound viscosities and improve processability. |
