The present invention relates to human CysE polypeptides and DNA (RNAs) encoding such polypeptides. The present invention also relates to methods of making such polypeptides by recombinant techniques. The present invention relates to a method for treating osteoporosis, tumor metastasis, microbial infection, viral infection, septic shock, inflammation, retinal irrigation, caries, cachexia and muscular dystrophy using such polypeptides. Also provided in accordance with the present invention are diagnostic methods for detecting concentration changes of polypeptides in samples derived from mutants and hosts in coding sequences. |
