titleOfInvention | Coating Additives for Waterborne Adhesive Blends |
abstract | An aqueous pressure sensitive adhesive formulation having one or more high molecular weight linear aliphatic polymers is provided. The resulting composition can be used to form a stable filament form and can be delivered from the coating die of the pre-measured coater in a stable sheet form at a flow rate substantially slower than the minimum delivery flow rate obtainable using a blend without polymer. Low polymer concentrations can result in dramatic improvements in the viscosity of the composition without adversely affecting the adhesive and other desirable properties of the composition. |
