titleOfInvention | Polypeptide Mixture with Sialic Acid |
abstract | The present invention is intended to provide a sialic acid binding polypeptide mixture by hydrolyzing sialic acid glycoproteins from specific lyases or a combination thereof from biomaterials rich in sialic acid glycoproteins. In another aspect, the present invention is to provide a sialic acid-binding polypeptide mixture having a high sialic acid content through molecular weight control, concentration and desalting process using an ultra filtration membrane for the water-soluble fraction after the hydrolysis step as described above.n n n Enzymes for hydrolyzing such sialic acid glycoproteins include exo-proteins derived from Bacillus subtilis endo-protease and Aspergillus aurise (Asp, oryzae). A weak alkaline endoproteinase derived from exo-protease and Bacillus strains was used.n n n As a result, the present invention can provide a sialic acid binding polypeptide mixture capable of economically supplying sialic acid in terms of manufacturing process, cost and price. In addition, since the sialic acid binding polypeptide mixture according to the present invention is easily absorbed in vivo and has a low side effect, it can be used to prepare a functional food or pharmaceutical material providing sialic acid. |
