titleOfInvention Information Extraction Method for Total Path of PVC and SVC in ATM, Frame Relay, and PDH Networks
abstract In the conventional NMS system, a method of expressing information on a specific PVC or SVC uses a method of expressing each individual information. In other words, the NMS obtains the information about the connection in the network element and the operator guesses the route. Each network element has connection information for the module that manages the permanent or switched virtual call, and the period module contains the connection information for the period-related module of the next node. In the conventional technology, there is no technology for integrating and expressing various kinds of information.n n n The present invention is a method of completing the entire connection path by continuously reading the connection information from the source to the destination in the PVCM and SVCM constituting each network element.n n n In the method for completing the entire connection path according to the present invention, the entire path from the transmitting side to the receiving side is in the form of a graphical user interface, and the operator can check at a glance, and there is a tool for checking the entire path. It is possible to find out which node is failing, enable the operator to view the established path for more efficient switching, and obtain statistics on the corresponding connection from each node where the connection is established.
