titleOfInvention Medium composition for high concentration culture of bifidus bacteria
abstract The present invention relates to a medium composition for high concentration culture of bifidus bacteria. More specifically, the present invention relates to a novel medium composition for culturing high anaerobic bifidus bacteria and a method for producing bifidus bacteria using the same. Of the present invention comprising 4 to 20 parts by weight of skim milk powder, 0.1 to 2.0 parts by weight of yeast extract, 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight of surfactant, 0.05 to 1.2 parts by weight of phosphate, 0.01 to 0.3 parts by weight of antioxidant and 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight of acetate The medium not only consists of a simple and economical composition, but also is suitable for high concentration culture of bifidus bacteria. Bifidus bacteria or powdered bifidus bacteria produced at a high concentration in such a medium may be widely used in lactic acid bacteria preparations, dairy products and probiotics.
