abstract | The organic EL device of the present invention includes a hole injection electrode, an electron injection electrode, and at least one organic layer sandwiched between the electrodes. The electron injection electrode is a film of aluminum lithium alloy formed by sputtering technology and containing 0.4 to 14 at% of lithium. The electron injection electrode further includes a protection electrode containing at least one of aluminum and transition metals except aluminum, titanium, titanium, and titanium nitride on the electron injection electrode side not facing the organic layer. |
