abstract | The present invention relates to a novel 1,2-diaryl-1-ethanol derivative of general formula (I) having excellent efficacy as a herbicide. The method for preparing the same is an acetyl chloride derivative of general formula (II) and a general formula (III). The benzene derivative is prepared by preparing a ketone compound of the general formula (IV) by the acylation reaction of Friedel-Craft.n n n n n n n n In formula (I), X and Y are each C 1 -C 4 alkyl, or halogen, or a group which attracts electrons as -NO 2 , -CN or -CF 3 and methoxy, phenoxy, phenyl,- OH or —NH 2 is substituted at the ortho, meta or para position of the phenyl group, in formula (II), R 1 represents hydrogen, bromine or fluorine, R 2 represents hydrogen or fluorine and R 3 represents hydrogen, Fluorine or chlorine, and in formula (III), R 4 represents methyl, methoxy, bromine, fluorine, phenoxy or para-bromophenyl group, R 5 represents hydrogen, and in formula (IV) Wherein R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 are the same as in General Formula (III), and R 5 represents hydrogen. |
