Influenza vaccine |
abstract |
The present invention relates to influenza surface antigen vaccines obtainable by making from influenza viruses propagated by animal cell culture and which have a host cell DNA content of 25 pg or less per dose. The present invention also includes a continuous step of (a) treating a complete virus containing a fluid obtained from a cell culture with a DNA degrading enzyme, (b) adding a cationic detergent, and then separating the surface antigen protein. And a method for producing a surface antigen protein from influenza virus propagated by animal cell culture. |
