titleOfInvention | Gas generating pellets, gas generators and airbag devices |
abstract | A gas generating pellet for an airbag system and a gas generator filled with it are provided. The inflator including the gas propellant can be controlled to increase the pressure of the housing.n n n The passenger may be placed under sufficient and adequate restraint within 35 to 50 milliseconds. The gas generating pellet is a period taken from the start of the increase in the tank pressure to the maximum tank pressure P (kPa) when the desired maximum tank pressure is P (kPa) in a tank test performed on the gas generator using the pellet. At this T millisecond, the tank pressure measured after 0.25 x T millisecond is adjusted to be 0.25 x P (kPa) or less, preferably 0.20 x P (kPa) or less. |
