titleOfInvention | Process for producing high purity epoxy compound |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for preparing a tetramethyl biphenyl epoxy compound. In the present invention, a small amount of distilled water and alcohol are used as catalysts for TBP / ECH, and potassium hydroxide flakes are used as alkaline bases, and the epoxidation reaction is sequentially performed in a reactor. Small amounts of distilled water and alcohols promote the reaction and are effective in minimizing the formation of gel byproducts generated during the reaction. Gel byproducts on the reactor walls are easily removed during the reaction. |
