abstract The present invention relates to a highly active heat resistant ADP-glucose synthase, a method for preparing the same, and an amino acid sequence of an amino terminus and a protein fragment obtained from the thermophilic strain Dermus Caldophilus GK-24. By using these ADP-glucose synthetases, ADP-glucose can be obtained economically, and it is also easy to obtain genes of the present enzymes through this amino acid sequence.
