titleOfInvention | Cationic electrodeposition coating composition excellent in resistance to ashing |
abstract | The present invention relates to a cationic electrodeposition coating composition which is excellent in cissing resistance and at the same time excellent in adhesion between a PVC sealant and a top coat.n n n The present invention relates to a cationic electrodeposition coating composition containing an electrodepositable cationic film-forming resin and a curing agent thereof, wherein (a) 5 to 90% by weight of a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic monomer and (b) 5 to 40% by weight of an amino group Acrylic copolymer having a monomer composition corresponding to the containing acrylic monomer, (c) an ether group-containing acrylic monomer having no hydroxyl group of 1 to 40% by weight, and (d) the remaining amount of other monomers, and having a number average molecular weight of 1000 to 50000. It provides as a solid content the cationic electrodeposition coating composition characterized in that it contains in an amount corresponding to 1 to 20% by weight of the total resin solid content of the composition. |
