A contact lens having an ion-impermeable portion and an ion-permeable portion that can be moved over the eye without sticking to the eye is described. The contact lens exhibits an average ionoflux transmittance of at least 1.34x10 -4 mm/min. One or more electronic components may be included within a contact lens. Methods of manufacturing contact lenses are also described. |
