abstract An aerosol-generating article that improves taste satisfaction and can be manufactured at low cost and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. An aerosol-generating article according to some embodiments of the present disclosure includes a leaf tobacco cut filler, an aerosol-forming base portion that forms an aerosol as it is electrically heated by an aerosol-generating device, and a downstream end of the aerosol-forming base portion located downstream of the aerosol-forming base portion. It may include a mouthpiece to form. Since leaf tobacco cut fillers are less expensive than reconstituted tobacco sheets, manufacturing costs of aerosol-generating articles can be reduced. In addition, unlike the reconstituted tobacco sheet, the leaf tobacco cut filler contains less additives, so the taste is reduced, and thus the user's satisfaction with the taste can be improved.
