titleOfInvention | Method of preparing polythiol-based compound and optical polymerizable composition including polythiol-based compound |
abstract | In the method for producing a polythiol-based compound according to exemplary embodiments, the absorbance measured for 350 nm wavelength light in a quartz cell with an optical path length of 50 mm after dissolving 17.3 wt % in distilled water in the preliminary polyol compound is 0.75 to 2.0 A metal sulfide is added to produce a polyol intermediate. The polyol intermediate is converted into a polythiol-based compound through thiolation. By using a metal sulfide having an absorbance in a predetermined range, a polythiol-based compound with reduced by-products and excellent optical properties can be obtained. |
